Guided Meditation: Melting Into Being
- There are two aspects to our experience: eternal being without a story and the personal ‘I’
- The personal ‘I’ is anxious about being right and being good enough
- Meditation is stepping out of the storyline of me
- Let the mind be agitated and don’t move
- Releasing stored contractions and trauma by including the sensations of the body during meditation
- Anything that appears is welcomed with unconditional love
- Be careful of the mind saying there’s nothing to do and everything is perfect
- What happens when you’re perfectly aligned between formlessness and form
- Some people are naturally more oriented toward being
- Thoughts are a byproduct of anxiety in the body
- We can meet the energy in the body in two ways
- As you abide as the space, there are no problems
- Allowing a part of you to say no to discomfort
- Surrendering to feelings can become a gateway to the divine
- Giving the body full permission to be what it is
- We are not defined by positive or negative experiences
- I am, and there’s nothing to uphold
- Distinguishing what is true joy and what is egoic joy
- “I can’t get enough of this, I love it” — that’s your calling in the world
